I was in the middle of this CT4 (modelling) lecture when my classmate from India, looking tired and desperate after 7 hours of continuous academic information, asked me: -Hey Ciro what's the time?
I was also really tired and kind of thinking softly, and her question surprised me!
I tried to answer because I like to help people, so I said something like:
-Well, the time is this intangible thing that continuosly occurs irrespective of you noticing it or not. It is necessary so that you know where and why are you where you are and... you now what? I've no idea what the time is, why do you ask so difficult questions while I am trying to get how to make a pseudorandom walk in Excel?.
We laughed and then I understood:
-Ahhh ok, it's five fourty!
